These pages are from a master weaver’s workbook. The book was said to have been created in Europe and must be at least 60 years old.
The red, black, white, sometimes green, sometimes blue patterns are hand painted and beautifully simple as images themselves. You can see their accompanying fabric samples to understand that the simple paintings are actually communicating a complex pattern. It’s also amazing to note the book is also handmade and bound.
